1. make an m3u playlist:ls *.mpg > vlctemp.m3u
2. start a playing window: vlc udp://227.1.1.1:1237, and wait.
3. start streaming: vlc 'vlctemp.m3u' ':sout=#duplicate{dst=std{access=udp,mux=ts,dst=227.1.1.1:1237}}'

The playing window will not work well. but if i stop and then restart the playing vlc, or just reverse step 2 and 3, or just type the mpg file names on command line, it works very well.
Below are some of the error messages:

The problem occurs on several versions of vlc under windows and linux.
Is this a bug of vlc?

maybe you want 'ls' instead of 'cat' :

1. make an m3u playlist: ls *.mpg > vlctemp.m3u
