Adding a new (programmed) module to VLC

Postby theace » 07 Jul 2008 13:53

Hello,
I have written a new source code with some functions I wish to call from VLC source code in order to add some functionality.

How can I make my functions available to VLC make?
I tried changing the modules.ac file, but the compilation failed.

Thanks.

Please refer to the HACKING file. If that does not work, see with the vlc-devel mailing list.

Hi,
I've already tried that, but the instructions are not quite clear.
Should I change any file other than Modules.am?
I think I also need to change the configure.ac, but I don't see how.

There are plenty of examples how to modify configure.ac in configure.ac
