OS X crash

I recently tried to launch v0.6.2 but it crashed and could not open. I use OS X 10.1.5 and the latest version I can use is 0.6.0. The version higher than this, I cannot launch the program. If somebody has the same problem and knows the solution, please help me out.

a known problem

Fixing that is on the todoo list for VLC 0.7 if that is any comfort. But I really recommend OS 10.2 or 10.3 - both are a darn sight better than 10.1.
