unsupported sound files for VLC

Postby selena » 27 Dec 2003 22:32

i downloaded a few files that are not playing in VLC or QT. VLC usually will play whatever QT won't, but these particular files yield a message that reads:

"main: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `undf'.
VLC probably does not support this sound or video format."

what basically happens is that there is video, but no sound.

is there a codec i may download that will play the sound with the video? or will i just have to dump these files and search for new ones?

thank you!

Use something other than VLC (QT on a mac or Window Media Player on Windows) or just dump the sucky files.
Don't use PMs for support questions.
