Subtitles

hello..
i have been using VLC player in a while. before, i was able to watch movies with subtitles and it works properly.. but then, i had some troubles with subtitles not appearing on the screen but i was able to fix it. the problem now is...it appears half on the screen.. i can see the subtitles at the bottom but they appear to be in half.. how can i move the subtitles a little to the left?
