Listening to the Radio with my Bookmarks
Posted: 19 Apr 2008 11:47
I'd like to bookmark some radio stations.
The problem is that when I'm opening a link to the selected radio station, it gets opened in the web browser
Is there any way to open a streaming radio in an external applications, like VLC Media Player?
In Firefox3 there will be an option for this one
But still, some of the Streaming Radio links are http:// (no mms://)
Classical KUSC
Or just an http:// that splits to a few mms://s
For istance, there is an Israeli radio station (Kol Hamusica) that:
I'd like to save the http:// only, without all the subordinates mms://s
So, do you know a URI_scheme that fits for this kind of situation?
I want to open a link to a streaming media via a one click on a bookmark (and that is should be opened in an external app)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Regards
