I found an very interesting setting for the demux - TS - Module. "extra PMT".
Unfortunly i did'nt really understand how it works. I think it should be possible to play TS-streams without PMT/PAT.
Do i have to enter the values in dec or hex? Can someone give me an example? :?:

From the option help: "Allows a user to specify an extra pmt (pmt_pid=pid:stream_type[,...])"

pmt_pid, pid and stream_type can be in hexadecimal (0x??) or decimal form.

Thank you,

that is what i tryed.
So if i enter
0x100=0x1FF:0x02,0x200:0x04
and try to play an file without PMT i get an Error and the VLC crashes.

"the instruction in 0x68341f31 refers to memory 0x00000000.
the procedure "read" could not be accomplished on the memory."

Files with PMT can be played without any problem.

Sorry, only the 0.8 test version crashes.
0.7.2 shows no reaction on any setting.

Is it possible that VLC 0.7.2 uses an other ts module instead?

OK, you're right.
If i tell VLC 0.7.2 to use the demux2-modules it crashes also with this setting.
Maybe my setting is wrong?
