There's a strange thing about this control.
I would like to use the wheel to go ahead (and back) but i noticed that i can't do it always. When i open a new movie the scrolling doesn't work, but id i touch the cursor on the seek bar and i move it,then i can use the wheel.....why??
Thanks

Sorry for my seemingly confusing posts, it's just the CloudStalker way.

Basically this was requested a few times before since it doesn't work quite that well in the current version of VLC. You'll usually have to select the seek bar area in order to use the mouse wheel for seeking.
The request was made for VLC 0.9.0 but it was instead made to work for the volume control (due to popular demand), therefore you've got...we've got the same problem.

ah ok it's a known bug...ok
Version 0.9 should have a better seek bar.....so i won't need to use mousewheel

Oh um...OK...not what CloudStalker meant.

But yes it will have a better seek bar.
