I think the VLC media player is the best media player out there.....
thanks for freeing us from the feared Windows media player..........

just one thing......is there going to be Volume controlls in the coming versions?

Hello,

Actually there are:

In the wxwindows interface, it is quite hidden: when playing a file, look at the right of the slider: the vertical slider here is the volume control.

There are also hotkeys for volume control (active from the video output window), A and Z are the default ones.

And yes that volumeslider is the worst thing designed ever :)
I think there will be a new one in a upcoming new version real soon.

All it really misses is a small loudspeaker icon below the control.

At first i hated the volume control. but now i love it : D easy to adjust and not a tiny small line you should try to piont at.
