dear members,

i committed the videolan forum cardinal sin earlier today when I left a posting having to do with difficulties with using my VLC media player. I used all uppercase in my subject regarding my inquiry. it was not my intention to be loud and obnoxious to you. This was completely an accident. i tend to use uppercase alot in general when emailing and posts in general but not for the intention of being a jerk. I do appreciate forums like these that provide free help for new members such as myself. I appreciate DJ making me aware of this and I hope you will forgive me, thanks for your understanding. My bad.

For my part: excuse accepted. But I am a nobody, so...

You could maybe edit your question post so as to remove the caps for all the people from now on that would read it and try to provide some technical insight.

From the error message you posted (maybe a bit short), it seams that it has a problem outputting things more than reading DVD.

You could maybe post the command you tried.
