new vlc-version for debian?

hi,
i tried to compile a newer version of vlc on debian woody, but i got several errors. i am using version 0.6.2 but i need a newer version (>=0.6.3). is sombody out there who can build a deb.packet with a newer verion which i can install on debian woody?
