optimal settings for vlc with a 20" widescreen?

Hiya,

I was wondering what would be the best settings for VLC when viewing with a 20" widescreen lcd?

Currently I just change the aspect ratio to 16:10 through the video option (how can I make this option default?). Also do I need to mess with any other options such as the crop ratio? Or am I all good?

Thanks for any help! :P

Just set your aspect ration to 16:10 in the preferences.

I use a 20"ws, and find that as long as your video card and monitor/dispaly are set to 16:10 you're good to go. No need for any settings in VLC relative to screen resolution.
