Postby macX » 17 Dec 2003 16:55

you know, i live in Argentina, and really here no body knows a thing about players for Mac, I found this VLC Player and is the best (great software!) until now. but i still having the same persistant problem in the audio:

"...i got the VLC 6.0 under Mac Os X 10.2.4, G4, 1Ghz.
in many movies that i see perfectly on QuickTime (not to say all), i hear audio steps like during the movie, its a really freeky sound every 10 seconds in ones, to 30 in others.
this bug appears to happen in any movie that I play on VLC, VCD included.
please if some body suffer this problem too, please reply me.
sorry by mi terrible english..."

and i can't se the "acentos" in spanish fonts. exist here some kind of patch to display correctly these spanish words??.

thanks again, and i hope to call your atention now.

best.

Apparently noone experiences the same problems as you do. If noone is answereing. Anyway, you should try teh 0.7.0-test2 release which is mentioned at the top of this forum.

if the accents in the spanish language are incorrect, than this is probably because there is a small bug in the translation. I'll see what I can do.

Hi.
Finally i try whit new movies and they work fine!.
the real mistery is that those old and bugged first ones, ears ok if i put them in a PC, runing the Nimo Codec Pack 5 Player, or the V PLayers.
(?).

other cuestion:
i have a problem with audio desyncronization in one AVi movie, but it stars at the midle of the movie. and the utility in "prefs_audio" to fix this don apears to work (VLC 6.0 and 7.0).
what other thing can i do tho fix this bug??.

thanks again.
best.
