Hello!
I have a problem with vlc and RTSP:
When I viewing movie from RTSP-server with vlc-player i can't pause or seek in movie.
(There is no effect on pushing "Pause" button and also no scroll-bar).
Does anyone know something about this?

RTSP is a streaming protocol without buffering. When you want to "pause" and to resume later you need to record the RTSP stream on a file and start to read the file by another vlc-process in timeshift.

There is one RTSP request called "PAUSE".
And no need to use buffering for this.
My server supports it.
But vlc just doesn't send PAUSE request to sever.

The question now is:
Does vlc support mpeg-ts trick play over RTSP?

Here the same problem. I have a RTSP server managing VoD requests from clients, but I don't know how to set up pause and seek functions for the clients?

Is it possible?
