How to start VLC with playlist window open ?

Hello,
I run VLC 0.8.6 to see TV with my freebox in France
With Linux Ubuntu 7.04, i start wxvlc
http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u
Then i have to select Vue>Liste de lecture (View>playlist in english i guess) to see the playlist
But i'd like the playlist to be open when i start VLC
I tried with these arguments :
--playlist-autostart
--playlist
--wx-playlist-view
--intf playlist
--extraintf playlist
but it doesn't work
I've also tried by the menu :
Lecture/codecs >demultiplexeurs>Liste de lecture : Lecture automatique
(input/codecs>demuxeurs>playlist : autostart)
Finally it appears that if i close vlc while the playlist is open, next time i run vlc the playlist will be open.
So, how can i have this behaviour in any circumstance ?

Well, yes and no.
It depends on what you want.

i don't understand... but that functionality would be great because with that you don't need all the players based on vlc (myfreeTV etc)

Well all I have to say is:
Supprimer la chemise de « cachette ».
I think that I requested this feature as well in the QT4 thread. Shall I trac it so that you don't forget?

I'm running VLC from deb

Is there a way to start VLC with playlist window open finally ?

If you close it with the playlist open it should open with the playlist open. (That's 3 "open"s in the same sentence ... try to beat that
)

o yeah, great !
Besides, with Ubuntu Netbook Remix (specially Maximus component), all windows automatically start maximized, but you can specify which software must not be maximized through a gconf key.
VLC Playlist should not be maximized to my mind : is it a separate process than can be notify to Maximus (i.e. don't maximize VLC-playlist) ?

Nope, it's not separate (but then I don't know how Maximum works).

Thanks for yours answers. With Maximus, you just have to notify a process (i.e. VLC, firefox, etc.)
Besides, i've seen screenshots with the playlist inside VLC : is it possible to have this ?
