stream out from VLC

hi ,
I am using vlc to open a transport stream(.ts) file and simultaneously stream the contents onto a different port using UDP protocol in the stream/save settings module.The contents of the transport stream packets ar e being changed when i receive on the port .can anyone explain me the reason...also the size of the data of each packet streamed out is 1318 bytes(7*188) .
