vlc (0.7.2, XP SP1, windows update complete) used to work perfectly on my machine for multicast playback (streamed by VLS 0.5.6, btw.) After some software upgrades, vlc can no longer open the multicast address for playback., it just waits forever. Now the strange thing is, if I open graphedit to render the URL with moonlight (Elecard UDP player) the playback with vlc starts. So for some reason, vlc can no longer properly open an interface, but moonlight still can.
