Hello everybody , I`m new on the list but i`m using vlc from the beginning , since was only for Linux but now i`m on a trouble.
I`ve buyed an Pocket PC Ipaq Hx 2190 B and does not have Wireless adapter on it , only Bluetooth.

The question is :

Can i stream my TV chanells over an Bluetooth connection ?

I`ve manage to "stream" some files over bluetooth but is not a true stream. The only thing i done it was to make in PAN network with my PC , use Pocket LAN to map the shares from my PC to Pocket PC and started a video file over bluetooth with core media player for pocket pc from the shared folders maped as drives.

I made an video capture with my photo camera an put it here:

I want to stream an live tv stream over bluetooth and change the chanelles from my pocket pc.

It is posible ? If YES , how can i do it ?

Thank you in advance.

With Respect ,

Aygun

I guess it depends on what resolution, format and container is needed.

The container can be MPEG 1 or 2.

For the test with Pocket LAN and maped drives i`ve used Enemy of the state.avi Divx codec with following settings:

Resolution : 320x136 pixeli
----------------------------------------
Audio MP 3 , 24 kbps , timp 1h26min36sec
----------------------------------------
Video datarate 34 kbps
Video sample size 24 kbps
Frame rate 25 fps
Video compresion Divx

and it was working smooth.

So what are u saying ?

It can work ?

Can Vlc stream even better than this ?

How can i do it ?

Please help.
