Load a skin for Mac?

Can't seem to figure out how to apply a new/different skin to VLC on Mac. The skins page is, frankly, completely useless. Sure you can download the .vlt file but there's no info on how to actually apply it! Any help?

Well, take a second look at the skins page (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/skins.html):
Portability: skins work on Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP, and any X11-based OS like Linux
So it doesn't work on Mac, sorry :-)

Well, that was sort of my point...was being a bit sarcastic. Anyone actually ever ported a skin for VLC on OS X?

The entire skin system would need to be ported to the OSX version first.
Any volunteers?????
