For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Topfield .rec to MPEG-PS (DVD) with subtitles ?

Postby mhavo » 10 Dec 2006 19:26

Hi!

Have tried but...

Is it possible to pass all streams from Topfield's (.rec) MPEG-TS to MPEG-PS
(I mean all 3: Audio+Video+Subtitles), so I can then author it a DVD.

Try using all ES (elementary streams). But considering subs would be in DVB format is doubtful they would work in a MPEG PS container.

It would be nice to have this kind of straight conversion from MPEG-TS to MPEG-PS as it would save a lot of time. It is enough time consuming to get rec-files out from Topfield :-)
