Hi all! I'd like to watch baseball live games on mlb.tv with vlc. Just because the flash controls doesn't work with opera. (i don't wanto to use IE)

The problem is that mlb.com ask for my username/password, before allowing me to watch the stream.

Anyone know how to solve this problem, and let me watch the games with vlc? :D

thanx in advance
lep

VLC does not support DRM, nor (to the best of my knowledge) does it provide a way to enter or bypass password protected files.

do you think that the live streams of mlb (attention please: i don't speak about de "digital download" service), are DRM protected? it seems to be just a (http? mms?) authentication!

I believe you stated that a password was required. At present VLC has no method of doing this. Except for FTP sites. There is also no way to allow for PPV. If this will be addressed in the future is unknown. I simply added that DRM protected files are also not supported.
