I have some MPEG2 encoder/decoders running on a private network. these are running unicast UPD packets. Is there a way for me to view/monitor the stream from my PC? I know if they run in multicast I can, but these boxes run in unicast and i am not sure if it is possable to capture the packets and view the stream real time.

Have you tried using Ethereal. You should be able to see an UDP packets with that. http://www.ethereal.com
I'm trying to do something similar but what to watch the video stream, any idea's on a purely listen unicast client?
