Automatic reload of playlist

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to specify a fixed playlist name and then have the playlist updated periodically if the playlist file has changed.

I wanted to write a script to create a playlist of all video files in a specified directory, and then then have VLC refresh the contents of its playlist periodically.

It's planned to add directory or file watcher in the next release
