Can't record mms streams with intro clips.

I'm trying to play 3BTV mms://194.93.135.74/1BB

Unfortunately, VLC only plays a one minute intro clip of a guy dancing, and stops. Windows Media player plays the clip, re-buffers, and continues with the actual programming.

I've tried, --http-reconnect, --http-continuous (which won't work since they are for http and not mms), --mms-cachesize (which wasn't the issue), --repeat, --loop , and repeating the entire MRL (which had the guy dancing twice), and most other things that looked promising.

I'd like to record for timeshifted viewing through my GBPVR/MediaMVP setup, which I have working already for single http: streams.

Am I missing something, or is this not possible? Are "intro" clips a deliberate mechanism to discourage copying?

Thanks!

Yes, this clip uses a feature of MMS that VLC currently not yet supports:
from debug:
access_mms error: reinitialization needed --> unsupported
asf warning: cannot skip data, EOF ?
main debug: EOF reached
I added a trac entry to make sure we don't forget this.

OK, that's as good as it gets then. There's lots more netTV to watch, so I can do without for now.

Thanks for supporting a great product!
