Does anyone know how to make the Media buttons play/pause/next/back/stop work with Video Lan on a Logitech MX 5000 Keyboard??
Have read these posts and did not work with Setpoint 2.60.606

Media keys should work in VLC nightly builds if you use the skins2 interface (or when going full screen with the wx interface).

I tried using the Link via start menu to the VLC (skins2) which brought up VLC with a Black & White skin but the Media buttons still did not work at all.
Is that how I use the skins 2 interface??
What is the wx interface?
I tried vlc-0.8.6-svn-20060827-0318-win32 and I could not get it to work with that version either.
Sorry to be so bothersome it would just be great if Logitech would add support for video lan cause it would really be handy to control it using the media keys.
Thanks.

Go in the preferences: interface -> hotkeys and bind the appropriate keys to actions you want to use.
