weird problem

Hi i'am new to these bords and i have a slight problem, I can't seem to pause streaming videos from the internet, I have tried to play theses streams in other play fine only the VideoLAN seems to have this problem I just downloaded this lovely player recently and I'am using the VLC media player 0.8.5. (wxWidgets interface) on windows xp (don't exactly know were to post a problem like this so i did here on the general fouroms). thanks in advance.

Could you give us a link to such a movie ? Normally, we should be able to pasue Internet streams.
