Search the forums!!!

A moderator should make a sticky explaining this.

If a moderator made a sticky for every COMMON question asked and repeated daily, the first 2 pages would be LOCKED stickys. :P

Supported Formats

VLC does NOT support the newer Real Media formats, they are proprietary and no legal open source is available. If VLC would support it would require that real player be installed much like WMV3 or WVC1 is supported if you have WMP 10 installed and this has been a nightmare of on going questions and problems. :)
