I'm running WinXP and I mainly use Vlc to preview video files I'm downloading.

On some occasions, not all the time, when I try to preview a video file, Vcl slows down my system to a crawl, and then it eventually hangs my system.

This usually happens with video files that have few chunks.

This is a know problem and is hopefully solved in recent versions.

I tried vlc-0.7.0-test1, but it looks like the problem remains.
