I have tried this plugin on both Mac (tiger) and Linux (FC5) with vlc v.0.8.5, using the web wizzard.

On the mac vlc just locks up, and the computer is dead slow, until i kill vlc. On Linux it plays a few seconds of one of the mediafiles, and then quits.

Have anyone managed to get this working, if so, how?

I have (using the web interface or just typing the commands myself ... in fact i wrote the web wizard)

What kind of inputs are you using ? how many ? does VLC display any debug messages ? (could you paste the mosaic VLM configuration file generated by the wizard ?)

But, still some problems with the background and fixed images.
