Sound consistently glitches in several spots playing ftp://streams.videolan.org/incoming/Chr ... uardia.mp3, most noticeably at 0:54, 1:01, and 3:31. Nothing is logged to the Messages window around the time of the glitches. QuickTime Player 7.1 plays the file without apparent distortion.

Try increasing the caching value for the FTP input module. I suspect that will fix it.
