Does a Last.fm plugin for VLC exist? Are there any known plans to make one? I certainly would appreciate it, and I would think I'm not alone.

Very good! :)

It would be TERRIFIC if the plugin could submit tags when we are listening to a ShoutCast stream! Any streams, indeed! ;)

Keep us informed, please!

Cheerio!

It is in 0.9.0, i don't think that it'll be in 0.8.6 (which is mainly a bug fix release). You can try 0.9.0 nightly builds here: http://nightlies.videolan.org . You have to enable audioscrobbler in the list of control interfaces in the preferences.

Yes, but NO. It doesn't work. I tried the Mac OS X PPC version. Still in development, I presume. Nor the tracks or the streams are submitted... :( In any case, thanx for the info! :) Looking forward the working release! Cheerio!

I'm real keen on this too... I've tried both of today's nightlies (trunk and branch), but couldn't find any reference to Audioscrobbler / Last.FM in the prefs... Am I looking in the wrong place?

I'm on a 4xG5 mac running OS X 10.4.8
