VLC-Player Playlist

I have the new version of VLC-Player. Now the problem is to open more than one File in Time. If a file is running and I klick another I have 2 Players runnig the same time... What can I do?
Settings - Preferences - Advanced - Other - check "Allow only one running instance" - save and restart.
