A Couple of Newbie Questions

Postby Guest » 10 Feb 2006 23:46

1. Is there any way I can get VLC to remember my volume setting when I exit? Every time I restart the program it defaults back to the default volume level which is annoying.

2. Is there any way to get VLC to automatically open the Extended GUI and have it enabled when I start the program?

Thanks.

remember volume settings:
Adjust the volume - Settings - Preferences - Save and restart VLC. VLC should now start with your requested volume level.

open the Extended GUI automatically:
Settings - Preferences - Interface - General - wxWidgets - check "Show extended GUI" Save and restart VLC.
