Hi all,
According to theory,

Code: Select all

Video Bandwidth = (scaling * compression rate) * fps
Can I change the frame rate in VLC, or can I specify the scaling so that I can achieve a low Video bandwidth?

I think VLC is using 25fps, but is it a constant frme rate, since VLC using a variable bitrate codec? or this 25fps is only a initial set of frame rate?

Where v can specify the scaling and compression factors in VLC? is there any option in VLC to do so?

I need to transmit a video with audio through a network having 384kbps bandwidth, without any data loss. Wht will be the optimum settings in VLC to do this. Is it possible? The bandwidth doesn't cross the deadline of 384kbps.

Can anyone help me? plzzz... :!:

Thank U for ur attention.
With Rgrds,
