Many instances of VLC

Hi

When I (in windows) double click on a file it starts playing in VLC. Then if I double click on another file another VLC starts up. So I have 2 simultanous VLC playing 2 different songs. Do you have any plans of doing so that the second song starts in the VLC that is already started? because its really annoying to close one VLC and open another...

Kind Regards

If you are using VLC in windows, you can enable the "one instance only" mode in the prefs (the interface prefs i think)

Settings - Preferences - Advanced - Other - check "Allow only one running instance" - save and restart.

Hmmm, I did that and it still opened another one, so I closed it, and re-opened and nothing comes up, just the tab, but no player.

I still can't figure out how to set the default for my chosen skin.

Why is this so buggy?
Or is it me?
