Configuring Socks5 Proxy For VLC Media Player

Hello,

i have lately been trying to connect proxy to my vlc media player.
http works good when i put it here


the current issue im having i want to connect my Sock5 proxy to here. the video gets played but no bandwitch is spent on proxy so it means its not connected while on http bandwith get wasted.


currently trying with webshare but i wanted to switch to other socks5.
any one have an idea that can help

VLC can only use SOCKS for a few protocols, and not for HTTP.
