Does VLC have to do any format conversion to output .flac to USB on my PC? I am planning on connecting a DAC to my PCB USB out and feeding a quality Headphone Amplifier. I have ripped the .flac file from CD via dBpoweramp. I am trying to determine where else in the overall stream that the audio format is manipulated.
