menu dvd desperated

Hello i have a serie in several dvds they play all the menu (like set up ,language,enz) exept dvd 2 its showing a half menu (picture) its playing for a moment and then when its time for the menu i see a half thing. how do i fix that? i have tryed the settings ,i have tryed other software to recover but nothing seems to work , when i had the dvd first it still works but i lost it and downloaded again. also i downloaded vcl again .

Try this:
Tools -> Preferences -> Show settings: ALL
Input codecs -> Access modules -> DVD with menus
Untick the option "Start directly in menu".
Save the preferences then exit and restart VLC.
