display a video instead of black screen with traffic cone

Hi folks. First time poster here! (please be gentle) lol

I'm wondering of anyone here can help me. I don't even know if what I want to achieve is possible, but hopefully someone here can help me out.

I'd like to display a looping video file instead of displaying the backscreen with the traffic cone.

So a chosen "default" video file would show upon opening VLC, when a video file ends, when a video is stopped etc.... Does this make sense to anyone?

If anyone here can help me to achieve this, I would be extremely grateful!

EDIT - I'm running version 3.0.20 on Windows 11

AFAIK there is no such option in VLC.
