I've been using VLC to compress videos down to a size that's easier to upload to YouTube. Recently it's starting doing something odd.

I have a video that's 1 hour 30 min long and is 20 Gb. When convert it using VLC it compressed it down to 1 Gb, but the video length shows 20 min. If I play it in the VLC video player or Window Media player, I can jump to the 20 min mark and the video will keep going like it wants to show the full 1 hour and 30 min. If I upload to YouTube, it only seeds it as a 20 min and stops when it gets to the 20 min mark.

Has anyone else seen anything like this? I use the Video for YouTube HD profile. I've tried uninstalling and installing an older version I still had, but I get the same issue.

You are converting which format to which other format ?

MP4 to MP4

Try with a nightly build:

I grabbed a nightly build and it worked for me.
