converting images back to video on vlc

HELP! . I converted a 4 second video into .png images . I then created alterations in each of the 149 image. I would like to bring the images back into a single 4 second video. I can find no instructions on the net on how to do this . Lots and lots of info on how to extract none on putting it all together again.
