Raw h264 playback fail

VLC is unable to play raw h264 files.
In my case : For Blu-ray authoring I need to provide .264 (or .m4v) files that are raw video stream without any container. We can produce those kind of files with Adobe Media Encoder (with Blu-ray output) or FFMPEG for exemple.
VLC is unable to play those kind of files.
They are playing fine on players like CyberLink PowerDVD or Leawo Blu-ray Player.

There's those warning messages :

warning | h26x | h264 module discarded (no startcode)
warning | ps | this does not look like an MPEG PS stream, continuing anyway
warning | ps | garbage at input from 509, trying to resync...

I can provide sample video if needed.
Thank you.

Try to rename your .264 files to .h264
M4V is a container, usually an MP4 container with only one video stream.

You can upload a short sample of an original problematic file to Zippyshare.com or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.
