Settings: always play video as mp3

Hello.

I use VLC only to play music. But mostly from video's. In the player there's an option to play video as mp3. Which allows for a better user interface. But I have to activate this option every time after playing video's (each new session I guess).

It would be great if I could set it in the settings menu to always play videos as mp3 by default.
