MPC-HC plays a video which VLC does not play correctly!

Hi,

I have recorded a video (3840X2160/10bit/100fps/HEVC) with the Panasonic GH-6, which cannot be played correctly with VLC.
Only when I play the video at 50% speed, everything is displayed correctly.

My PC is running a Radeon RX Vega M GH Graphics, Intel® Core™ i7-8809G CPU @ 3.10GHz, 32GB RAM.

With MPC-HC, on the other hand, I can play the video without any problems.
Deactivating the hardware acceleration did not solve the problem with VLC.

Does anyone have any idea why VLC Player can't play this video properly?

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.

Also upload a short sample of your original problematic file to Zippyshare.com or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.

200 MB max should be enough.

UVD 6.3 but that does not tell the max supported macroblocks/s (Mbps/fps)

Hi,

The sound works!

However, I now have another problem with certain video files: The VLC player crashes with a black image, without displaying even part of the video.
MCP-HC Player plays that video file without any problems!

After the VLC crash I am simply asked if I want to send a bug report to the Developer Team.
As a user, where can I find the contents of this report?
