Default audio track

Hello all,
Is there a way to have VLC override the foreign language default audio track of a mkv file and have it play the english track instead? For instance, if the #1 track is in French and the #3 track is in English, I'd like for VLC to be able to automatically choose that one. If this is not possible, is it possible to use VLC to permanently change that #3 English track to #1 so that it defaults to it? I would just like to have my files automatically use the English track instead of having to switch to it every time I open a video that is not defaulted to English.
Thanks!

Some tracks can be marked as the default tracks so they will be played by... default :)
But you can force the default language for audio and subtitles:
Tools -> Preferences -> Show settings: ALL -> Input codecs
The language fields are on the right panel.
For instance for English language type in "eng,en" (without quotes and without spaces) in the audio and/or subtitle language field.
Save the preferences then exit and restart VLC for the change to take effect.

How to mark a track by default?

What to type for Japanese? Korean?

if Japanese and English audio tracks, VLC always choose English track.
If only Japanese audio track, VLC choose Disable because no English track.
I want always Japanese chosen, and if no Japanese then whatever audio track is there, not Disable.
How to fix?
