Looping Video Ends with a Black Screen?

So I have the latest version of VLC installed on a number of display boards, and for some reason this only happens with VLC, but I have a video on loop and every time it restarts there is a brief moment at the end where the screen goes black and then it goes back into my video. Is there a way to avoid this from happening? It doesn’t do this in Windows media player.
