I have a yeskamo video system 2.4 gig
I connect my laptop wifi to any camera and i am then on that network via wifi
i then can open network stream to the cameras ip rtsp://admin:@172.20.14.107
and see and hear them
here is my question

the yeskamo system allows me to configure a camera to use another camera as the host
for instance
i have a camera outside my barn, and i can get to that camera from my yeskamo nvr and vlc

then there is a camera inside the barn with a metal roof, neither the yeskamo nvr nor my laptop can see it
so that camera has been told to use the camera outside the barn as a repeater
the nvr can now see both

vlc can not see the camera by using its IP address
i assume I must get to it by the ip address of the camera outside the barn

rtsp://admin:@172.20.14.107

the camera inside the barn is 172.20.14.104 before it was paired up to the camera outside the barn
any clues about if there a mod to the connection string on rtsp://admin:@172.20.14.107 that will actually get me to the video on 172.20.14.104 that 107 is now repeating ?
