Quality factor field is grayed out in h.265 options

Quality factor field is grayed out in h.265 options

Hello,

I'm trying to capture a video with a video capture board. I'd like to save the input in h.265 and AAC format. I'd like to set a quality factor of 26, but the field is grayed out:

I tried adding the following additional option in the lower field: --crf 26 but this code is not taken into account. No matter what value, the bit rate doesn't change to match the quality requested.
Could you help me, please?

True, I can reproduce the issue. TBH I have checked all of the video options and I don't understand why we can't access this setting.
Let's hope a dev will answer that, otherwise you should create a new ticket on the VLC Trac with your above report and the link to this thread:
