How to show full path of media in status bar?

I'd like to show the full path of the media/file in the status bar. There's a way to show it in the title: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=138746 – but I want to be able to easily copy the full path (I would also be fine with a shortcut that copies the full path, without showing it anywhere).
Is there any way to do this?
