Playlist runtime total is wrong

Hello,

I'm new to this forum!

I did a search for this exact problem and couldn't find it, so hopefully this is something that is something super simple to fix, since it seems no one else has mentioned it.

I work with clients that require to the second accuracy in runtimes. Sometimes, it's for 300+ files, so I thought I'd use VLC's playlist function for the audio total. However, I noticed that the total is a bit off. (Luckily, this came up with one of the shorter lists of audio...not the 300+ one)

For example, I have 2 files that are of the following lengths:

01:06:31
00:22:15

So, the total should be 01:28:46, but the playlist total shows 01:28:47 (see screenshot below):

Honestly, yes, it's minimal, BUT, I do need this to be correct. I'm not a power-user, or anything, so I haven't tweaked any of the default settings. So, if that's all I need to do, please let me know!

Thank you all, in advance.

Durations are rounded to the second for display, so:

- 01:06:31 is maybe 01:06:31.40
- 00:22:15 is maybe 00:22:15.35

Therefore, the sum may be 01:28:46.75, rounded to 01:28:47.

Thank you!

I had a feeling that that could be what it was...do you happen to know if there's any way to change that setting? (I'm doubtful, but since ya never know...)
